(Al Jinn) 72 : 1
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ قُلْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ اسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْآنًا عَجَبًا
You say: Indeed it has been inspired into me that indeed a group from Sprites happened to listen me; thus they said that indeed we have heard a wonderful Reading.
Messenger hadn’t known the event mentioned in verse 46: 29 that a group of sprites heard verses of Lord’s Book from him, and they went to their people as warners. Through this verse Messenger is commanded to say that I had not known that news, but I came to know it when I was inspired that news from Lord. See explanation 50: 1-4; 54: 17; and 55: 13.
